Iced Capp Recipe

We have to admit it, we all spend a ton of money on coffee just to get iced coffee. That’s why I finally came up with this homemade Iced Capp Recipe. Honestly, it’s just as good as the ones you buy, and maybe even better because it doesn’t have any weird syrups and you don’t need a fancy espresso machine to make it either – super easy and perfect when it’s hot out or when you just need a caffeine boost to get through the afternoon.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Brew a small amount of coffee and make it strong. If it’s weak, the drink will taste like milk watered down — Tip: I usually freeze any leftover coffee in an ice cube tray so I can use coffee cubes next time – it keeps the flavor really strong.

Step 2: Put the cold coffee, cream, sugar, and vanilla in the blender, then add the ice at the end so it stays on top near the blades.

Step 3: Hit the pulse button a few times so the mixture looks thick and mashed, not completely liquid – If you blend it for too long, it will just turn into a cold latte, which is fine, but that’s not what we’re going for.

Step 4: Pour it into two glasses right away. I usually put a ton of whipped cream on top and maybe some chocolate drizzle. Use a straw and drink it fast!

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Brew a small amount of coffee and make it strong. If it’s weak, the drink will taste like milk watered down — Tip: I usually freeze any leftover coffee in an ice cube tray so I can use coffee cubes next time – it keeps the flavor really strong.
  2. Put the cold coffee, cream, sugar, and vanilla in the blender, then add the ice at the end so it stays on top near the blades.
  3. Hit the pulse button a few times so the mixture looks thick and mashed, not completely liquid – If you blend it for too long, it will just turn into a cold latte, which is fine, but that’s not what we’re going for.
  4. Pour it into two glasses right away. I usually put a ton of whipped cream on top and maybe some chocolate drizzle. Use a straw and drink it fast!

Notes

Freeze a little coffee in an ice cube tray overnight. Using coffee cubes instead of regular water cubes will make the flavor much stronger and prevent it from getting watery.
